THE ZONE'S  THRESHOLD

"The image is not this or that meaning expressed by the director (artiste), but a whole world that is reflected in a drop of water, just in a drop of water!"

 Andrei Tarkovsky

Between these middle zones where limits are removed the landscapes wander into and out of the drawing, painting, photograph. Full of allegories, mixed with uncertainties, layers of intertwined times inhabit them and name the inexpressible in another way. In their stillness they oscillate between the distance and the closeness of other worlds. The space unfolds itself from nostalgia in order to stop us and make us just contemplate. Thus, he or she who sees them finds himself or herself in the threshold of an experience at the same time of the outside (space) and of the inside; an experience between sight and vision, between memory and sensation, between the notion and the feeling.
